Can’t connect to the PSN?

Don’t worry! Sony has given word that the PlayStation Network is undergoing maintenance.

[Update: The PSN is back up, and everyone should have access again]

No time frame has been given to how long the maintenance will be. Only thing we know is that the PSN is down, but it may not affect everyone. So if you can connect… yay!

We’ll let you guys know when the maintenance is over, although the chances are pretty good that you can still connect. If not, go play some PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe.

Here’s the highly uninformative tweet Sony sent not too long ago:

The PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance. Some users may not be able to connect.

Update: That maintenance didn’t take too long. After nearly an hour of downtime, the process is now finished and everyone can enjoy playing their games online again.

…and the maintenance is complete. You should have no problems logging back in to the PSN. Enjoy your weekend!
