Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty Price Drop – UPDATED
It seems like Amazon.com is already attempting to beat the PSN prices. You can now purchase R&CF: Q4B for $5 off the original price.
Quite a nice deal, and just in time for Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time!
If you couldn’t tell by the name of the title, Quest for Booty has pirates. The game is the direct sequel to Tools of Destruction and features more platforming and puzzle based gameplay. Ratchet’s wrench also has a tethering ability to move environments around, so expect to be doing things not possible before.
Originally set at a price of $15 in the US, the game had around four hours of gameplay for Ratchet lovers to dive into. Not that bad considering the length of ToD, but the price of admission may have been frowned upon during its original release.
With Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time nearing, there was no doubt that some sort of deal was bound to happen. At the moment only Amazon has taken a step at providing a cheaper price, but don’t be surprised to see it lowered at the PlayStation Store. A PSN price drop may not happen though, so it’s best to take advantage of this deal while it lasts.
Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty is a pretty large game, so be prepared to download a few gigs to your HDD. It’s Ratchet though, so it’s worth it.
