Sixty dollars is a lot of money to pay for a game you’ll only spend eight or nine hours plays, right? Thankfully with Ratchet & Clank, the developers have included many features, both new and old, that will increase the replayability of the game, giving you more bang for your buck.
If you’re familiar with the series, then it will come as no surprise that Challenge Mode is returning. This means that more difficult enemies will populate the worlds on your second go around but there are bigger rewards as well. Also included will be unlockable skins, cheats, and everyones favorite; trophies!
One of the new features of A Crack in Time is the ability to fix time. Clank will be able to fix certain areas by rewinding time, thus allowing Ratchet to visit them when he couldn’t on the first play through. You also have the option of exploring the many planets and moons in space to collect the goodies they hold which can include upgrade, bolts, and even Zoni.
Speaking of Zoni, if you collect all of them, you’ll be able unlock a boss battle with Lord Vorselon. Defeating him grants you access to the one and only Insomniac Museum. Here, you’ll find many secrets and surprises from the development team.
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is no doubt going to be a fantastic game. Features have still yet to be revealed so the excitement can only increase from here on out.
