The first downloadable pack has been announced for SOCOM: Confrontation.

The game has had a rift of patches to improve the overall enjoyment of the game since launch, and now the development team are turning to new content.

The pack is called Cold Front and living up to the name, it will add brand new snow effects, as well as special gear and thermal vision.

A total of five maps are included in the pack, including three classics from previous games.

Also added is a ARMS RACE gameplay mode that features missile launchers that two teams will fight to either activate or destroy.

Plus there are new characters, new weapons, and of course, new trophies to unlock.

As you can see, there are still more details left in the cold – see what we did there – but more information is on the way including a release date.
