WipEout HD 2.10 patch coming soon

A brand new patch for WipEout HD is incoming that will take the game to version 2.10.
The update brings in some minor improvements as well as fixes to audio problems and scoring in the Elimination and Detonator modes.
But the big change is the reintroduction of adverts in the game – yay?
Previously Sony tried this on the loading screens but they were proven to actually extend the time it took to load, but this has apparently been fixed.
On the announcement blog post, Sony try to make it sound like it’s a good thing for us that adverts are back but to be honest we disagree.
We really hope that the adverts aren’t to intrusive and don’t affect the enjoyment of the game. But we don’t think it’s right that they can implement them after hundreds of thousands of gamers have already bought the game anyway.
