Live Twitter interview with Dylan Cuthbert [UPDATE]

Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

Dylan Cuthbert Live Twitter interview with Dylan Cuthbert [UPDATE]Dylan Cuthbert first came to this writer’s attention back before the PlayStation 3 was even an electrical impulse in the mind of Ken Katuragi.

Dropping out of school at 16 years of age to join Jez San’s Argonaut Software, he became one of the leading lights behind 3D gaming as we know it today. After spells with Nintendo and Sony, Dylan went on to found his own company – Q-Games – which has had success in 2D gaming, rather than the three dimensions Dylan made his name with.

On Tuesday this week, Dylan will speak to PS3 Attitude in our first ever live Twitter interview…

With both the critical and commercial success of their Pixeljunk series, Q-Games are on the verge of releasing the latest in the franchise with the forthcoming Shooter.

We’ll be spending some time with Dylan from 10:00 UK time on Tuesday 24th November. We’ll be composing 140-character questions and he’ll be sat in his office in Kyoto, Japan, answering them live for your delectation.

So if you’re not already following PS3 Attitude on Twitter, now would be a good time to do so!

Many thanks to Dylan for sparing us his time. You can read a transcript of the entire Twitter interview here if you weren’t able to catch it live.

    I have two questions:

    a) After Racers, Monsters and Eden came out in rapid succession, why did Shooter take so long

    b) Will we ever see Dungeons?

won’t be there in person but will catchup later

The obvious would be “What’s next after Shooter?”, but I’m guessing we won’t find out for a little while yet. Or even “What’s the secret of their creative process?”, as they seem a cut above most devs when it comes to creative, interesting stuff. Have got every Pixeljunk game so far, and don’t think that’ll change anytime soon (although Racers was a slightly shaky start, they’ve been brilliant ever since) :) .
