Madden NFL Arcade releasing November 25th

Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

Madden NFL ArcadeEA has announced when Madden NFL Arcade, a new take on the football series, will be releasing on the PlayStation Network.

The date to put in your diary if you’re interested is the 25th of November, and the amount of money you need to put aside will be $14.99.

This means it will come out slightly earlier than the targeted December release last month.

As the name suggests, the game is very much a remix of the football game genre as each side are assigned with only five players and there are no penalties or field goals amongst other things.

It will be interesting to see how well this game is received, and whether other sports such as soccer and basketball will also get the same treatment.

There has been no discussion of the gaming releasing outside of North America, and we won’t be surprised if it stays that way as Madden doesn’t sell so well outside of the region.
