Media Molecule celebrates LittleBigPlanet’s birthday with free DLC
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
Media Molecule has announced that they will be celebrating the one year anniversary of LittleBigPlanet.
Yup, it has already been a year since the day we brought Sackboy home and unleashed hours upon hours of fun on our PS3s.
If you couldn’t tell from the picture, this Thursday you will be able to download the free Cakeboy costume. It will be available for one week only, so be sure to download it while you can!
Oh, but that’s not all. Were you one of the few that missed out on the Space Suit costume released back when the game first came out? If so, you will be pleased to know that it is making its return this week as well!
Wait, there’s more?! Yup. According to Media Molecule, over the next few weeks even more celebrating will be done. No details beyond that were given, but as soon as we get any information, we’ll let you know. Until then, download the wallpaper Media Molecule made to celebrate.
LittleBigPlanet is one of those games that you can just jump into at any point in time and experience something new. Even after a year you can find some of the most amazing levels created by the overly imaginative community. If you haven’t played LBP in awhile, load it up and play some of the newer levels. It’ll be worth your time. Plus, if you don’t play you will make Sackboy sad. Do you really want to do that?

I need to take this game for a spin again! Not played it for about 6 months!
This brings to mind the news that naughty dog are doing an Uncharted 2 giveaway. I suspect quite a few developers will be offering free ’sweeteners’ for the pre-Christmas shoppers.
I’m just looking forward to being able to create levels with my mates online some day…
and water… lots of water.
