Resident Evil 2 hits the PSN today! – UPDATE

Capcom is celebrating the PS3’s birthday in an awesomely evil way. Resident Evil 2 is finally being released today on the PSN as the newest PSone Classic. Swoot!
Twitter is awesome, and Capcom is even more awesome. Shortly after revealing the RE5 Gold Edition and DLC details, Capcom has announced that fans of the series will be able to play what is arguably the best Resident Evil title on their PS3 and PSP.
The game will most likely be released only in the US (sorry EU…) for $9.99 $5.99 just like Resident Evil: Director’s Cut. If you still don’t own a copy of RE2, do not hesitate to buy this game as soon as it hits the PSN. It’s just that awesome.
Update: According to INVINCEABLE_10 from GameFAQs, this is the Dual Shock version of Resident Evil 2. Thanks for the info!
I own a copy of Resident Evil 2 and I’m still buying this. Awesome!
