Sgt. Pepper available via download next week; Them Crooked Vultures in December

The Beatles: Rock BandBecoming only the second full Beatles album to be released on The Beatles: Rock Back Music Store, MTV, Harmonix and Apple (anyone else want to get in on this?) are proud to announce that, arguably their most influential album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band will be available via DLC on the PSN next Thursday (the 19th).

With “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “With A Little Help From My Friends,” “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds,” “Getting Better,” and “Good Morning Good Morning” already included on The Beatles: Rock Band game disc, you can now complete the album by purchasing individual Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band singles: “Fixing A Hole,” “She’s Leaving Home,” “Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite!,” “Within You Without You,” “When I’m Sixty-Four,” “Lovely Rita,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” and “A Day In The Life.”

Prices will be £0.99/€1.59/$1.99 per track and £7.49/€8.99/$13.49 for the “Complete The Album Pack.”

And if you’re more of a Rubber Soul kinda guy. You won’t have long to wait as that album hits next month.

In other RB news, if you’re a big Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Led Zeppelin fan, we highly recommend you check out new supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. Consisting of Grohl, Josh Homme and Zed Lep legend John Paul Jones, the entire debut album can be listened to here on their homepage.

If you like what you hear, prepare to play along to their first single, “New Fang”, on December 3rd when it also hits the Rock Band Music Store.

We prefer “No One Loves Me & Neither Do I” from the album ourselves but “New Fang” is still an awesome track so check it out if you like your rock heavy and full of attitude.

New Fang will cost a palty £0.99/€1.49/$1.99.
