Sony make an impact in Birmingham Bullring centre, England

Sony is going promotion crazy, and why not with big exclusives like Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time?
But they are now taking over the UK with a tour across the country in several massive shopping centres.
This week they can be seen at Birmingham Bullring shopping centre to promote their up-and-coming games and current media features for the PS3.
The huge booth is open for the public to explore the PlayStation universe with hands-on with unreleased games such as God of War III and Heavy Rain.
Additionally they are showing off BBC iPlayer and VidZone – two top video streaming features for the PS3!
This is certainly a good way to educate the public about the benefits of the PlayStation 3 over the competition such as Blu-ray, free online and the best exclusives for this year.

So if you happen to be around the area this week, remember to give them a visit and tell them that PS3 Attitude sent you there!
They will also be touring around other venues in the UK, which are Manchester Arndale between the 14th and 22nd of November, Gateshead Metro Centre between the 25th of November and 2nd of December, and finally at London Westfield between the 5th and 13th of December.

About time, I wonder why they didn’t do this first time round. Did they just accept that the original price was too high for regular punters?
Current circumstances such as new, slick design, VidZone and BBC iPlayer certainly are more appealing to a wider audience.
But iplayer is available on Virgin, everything is repeated at some time on one or other freeview channel or the same channel later in the week, There are freeview recorders and Sky+.
let’s hope the don;t forget to promote the music playlists, photo album features, and web browsing too.

I gather it’s just for this week.
I believe just for this week, then it will be moving on to other places around the country.
