European PS Store Update For 10th December – PixelJunkies get their Call of Duty

Submitted by on Thursday, 10 December 2009No Comment

EU PSN b European PS Store Update For 10th December PixelJunkies get their Call of DutyPew! pew! pew! PixelJunk Shooter has finally arrived! For some odd reason, there is no demo, but we can assure you that you’ll like the game since it’s just that good. There actually aren’t any demos at all aside from Fairytale Fights, but there are three other games to purchase and one of them happens to be Call of Duty Classic. Yay!

Unfortunately there are no PSone Classics this time around, so if you were looking forward to Rugrats or Peter Pan 2, you’re out of luck. For the PSP owners out there, you’ll be happy to know that Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Portable Ops+, and the MGS Digital Graphic Novel are now on the PSN. Awesome!

This update seems lacking in terms of quantity, but PixelJunk Shooter is out so all is forgiven. Sony was smart to add Uncharted 2 multiplayer skins in a bundle with the Motion Comic, no complaints here. PSP fans should really enjoy this update (especially for the Go users). Tons of Metal Gear Solid love today, and even a surprise appearance by the Digital Graphic Novel.  If you’re a fan of the original MGS on the PSone (who isn’t?), you may want to pick this title up and watch it before bed. The art is done by Ashley Wood (Portable Ops, Peace Walker) and looks great on the PSP screen. There are sound effects and the scenes are done in a very dramatic way that’s pretty entertaining. Tekken 6 will also be on the PSN for the PSP starting on Friday.

If you’re still debating on whether or not you should get PixelJunk Shooter, check out our review. Enjoy!
