inFAMOUS discounted to $39.99, free Gigawatt Blades

One of the big titles this year, inFAMOUS, is getting a permanent discount in the US to the price of just $39.99.
The game released in May follows Cole who gains some very special powers after an explosion across Empire City and he has to decide whether to use them for good or evil.
inFAMOUS was a big hit amongst fans although it has not received as much publicity as other PlayStation 3 exclusives this year such as our favourites Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2.
If you haven’t picked it up yet, it is a recommended buy and to sweeten the deal Sony are also throwing in the previously GameSpot pre-order exclusive ‘Gigawatt Blades’.
Gigawatt Blades will be available for free on the PlayStation Network
To download the blades, just find them on the PlayStation Store, and they are also available for current owners of the game.

Hopefully the Gigawatt Blades will be available to download from the UK store as well. I wouldn’t mind seeing what kind of damage I can cause with them. I really enjoyed playing inFamous, and I think I’ll have to go back and start again soon.
