New Medal of Honor announced for 2010

Submitted by on Wednesday, 2 December 20093 Comments

medal_honorElectronic Arts has today announced a brand new Medal of Honor game for multiplatforms including the PS3 next year.

The game which is simply entitled “Medal of Honor”, will drop the common WWII theme for the first time in favour of war in present day Afghanistan.

This sounds like an excellent move by EA and it should set it apart from all the other shooting games that have flooded the market over the years.

Here is a brief description of the game from their PR:

Medal of Honor, an all-new first-person shooter game, will introduce the Tier 1 Operator: a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle.

In addition to the expected highly entertaining single player will be online multiplayer – like they all have these days – and this will be developed by EA DICE.

If you’re intrested, the rest of the game will be developed by the Electronic Arts Los Angeles studio.

Well we can tell you that we are already very excited for this game, and fingers-crossed that it does meet the deadline without any compromises in quality.

So, does this news complete your Wednesday?
