Have yourself a merry little Christmas…

PS3 Attitude will be taking a break from providing you, our dear readers, with the latest PS3 news and articles for the next few days.
Whilst the team will no doubt get bored with their presents and put up a story or two, the official line is that we’ll be away on the 25th through to and including the 28th December, and we’ll fall silent once again on the 1st January (just for a day).
But before we go, we’ve got something to tell you…
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the last year.
PS3 Attitude continues to go from strength to strength, with readership levels now at a record high. We’re attracting over 150,000 PS3 owners every month, and we’re on target to reach the magic 250k mark by this time next year – something we’re all working hard towards.
This year has seen the beginnings of our new celebrity friends getting involved in the site, including great pieces by Ortis Deley of The Gadget Show and Dennis ‘zDD’ Dozier – the world’s #1 PS3 CoD pro gamer. We’re going to be bringing you more exclusive content from famous faces in 2010.
We have also seen a big rise in donations and advertising revenue this year, all of which goes to charity. We’ve supported GamesAid throughout 2009 and you’ll see us turn over our entire operating profit (which, as we’re privately funded, is every ounce of revenue we generated this year) in the New Year.
We always need the help of people like you to spread the word about PS3 Attitude and help us make a difference to the lives of children who need our support, so please don’t stop spreading the word about us through your social networks like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Every time you Digg, Mixx or vote up our stories on sites like Current, or retweet our ramblings on Twitter, you’re helping to raise more charity money for our worthy causes.
Look out for some surprises as we go in to 2010 – we’ve got big plans and we’re looking forward to taking you along for the ride!
Have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa or just a great time over the next 10 days, and we’ll see you in the New Year for more of the same – only better!
Please leave your Holiday Season wishes for everyone who volunteers to run PS3 Attitude (Ed: you’re all fantastic people; thanks for all the hard work you do for the site), and to everyone who comes by to read what we write (Ed: you’re all fantastic too!), in the comments section below…
