US PSN North American PS Store Update For December 17th   Darling, so there you areSure, Final Fantasy XIII just came out in Japan, but that won’t stop everyone from being excited about the PSN release of Final Fantasy VIII.

Can you believe that it has been 10 years since the game was originally released? Music from Final Fantasy VIII is still loved by fans and played in concerts around the world to this day. Truly a memorable game with a kick ass intro that will give you chills.

The Guitar Hero: Van Halen demo has finally made it onto the PSN after being teased a couple of weeks ago. There are actually six demos to try out this week with Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial Challenge being the highlight.

There’s more than just demos. Puzzlegeddon is the lone PSN game this week, and is joined by a plethora of DLC for Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and even Socom: Confrontation. Enjoy!

PSP owners will definitely love this update. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, PO+, and the Digital Graphic Novel are finally on the PlayStation Store. The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo is also now available, so go download it! Not only that, but there are tons of price cuts on great PSP titles. Beaterator gets a whopping $20 price drop and Chinatown Wars gets a $10 drop. A great update for the holidays, especially since Final Fantasy VIII is now available for the PSP and PS3.
