Sony has announced a brand new application to soon be available on the PlayStation Store in Europe.

SingStar Viewer is a downloadable feature that will allow you to purchase music from the SingStore, and watch, rate or review video clips, photos and profiles from the community.

The good thing about it is that it’s free to download and you do not need to own any of the SingStar games to get it.

However, if you want to purchase tracks or rate and review content, you will still need to have bought one of the games.

Once you have downloaded it, you can find the application under the GAME category which is nice and handy.

Sadly they won’t tell us when to expect it other than “soon”, so hopefully sometime before Christmas.
