VidZonePosting over at the official PS blog, Ben Crease, Head of Production for VidZone, is happy to announce that the PS3 jukebox service is now available in 18 countries.

Which 18? Well, not wanting you to go scrambling for an atlas and a calendar, Ben has provided a list …

Here’s a handy breakdown of just who went live and when.

  • JUNE 11th – ¬†Australia, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Germany, UK
  • NOVEMBER 26th – Austria, Netherlands, Portugal
  • DECEMBER 3rd – Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden
  • DECEMBER 10th – Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Switzerland

With Belgium, Luxembourg, NZ and Switzerland joining the party today, Ben is bullish that “promises made have been kept.”

The service is now available in seven languages with Ben teasing that there’s more to come from the service in 2010. We’ll be happy if further updates simply includes a better search mechanism.
