Assassin’s Creed III detailed

Assassins Creed II Missions Assassins Creed III detailedAfter confirmation of a new Assassin’s Creed yesterday, more details on the title have emerged.

It will be a full game that will again star Ezio, will be developed by the same studios who developed the second game; which the majority of work was done by Ubisoft Montreal.

We guess using the same studios is not too much of a surprise since they clearly know how to make a fantastic game, and have the know-how to make the perfect follow-up.

And yes we do actually mean a “follow-up” because it will carry on the story from AC2.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had this to say today:

We have a new Assassin’s Creed that we expect will be a very high quality product that as well as an offline complement will have a multiplayer component. It is the same studios… and they are working together to make it happen.

Another Ubisoft spokesman added:

The game will take place with the same hero, which is Ezio, and will follow-up the story that took place in Assassin’s Creed 2.

Out by March of next year, we expect this one is pencilled in for a Christmas release, which would be very quick considering many people only just got AC2 for Christmas.

And don’t forget that there are still downloadable episodes due for Assassin’s Creed II. Unless of course they do what Valve did with the Left 4 Dead DLC by scrapping any planned additional content and moving straight onto the sequel – this would be very disappointing of course!

So are you ready to look ahead for the next game? Are you happy that Ezio will be in the game again? The comments section is open as always…

He doesn’t say anything about the game being a direct sequel to AC2, were did you get that piece of info. And what do you mean with “We guess this is not too much of a surprise”, It’s a major surprise, so far the game has been jumping in time and space, why would they suddenly stop now, and especially after suspect 16 have giving so many clues, what about Alexander the great , Jesus and john the baptist, Napoleon, Queen “Bloody” Mary I of England, Czar Nicholas II and Rasputin Gandhi, and George Washington.

“We guess this is not too much of a surprise” is in reference to using the same studios.

The game will follow on from where the second game left off (inc dlc).

Sorry, just got a little angry because of the “Italy again” news, (Spoiler) but he nearly killed the pope , it wouldn’t be odd if he wanted to flee the country, and Ezio talked a lot about Spain, so who knows (Spoiler out)

I have a feeling this won’t be assasins creed 3 but a spin off of 2, titled something like Assasins Creed: Tales of Ezio. Or at least I hope so because even though Assasins creed 2 is great another one so soon is worrying.

Chances are Ezio will tour a bit more of Italy before wandering further afield. No reason why he can’t go abroad. or another mainland European country.

damn… ezio again? i wanted to see a new assasin. Lots of other options, i hope AC3 is in another location, other than italy.
