Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Confirmed
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
Batman: Arkham Asylum has had some decent downloadable content since the game’s release last August.
So if you have yet to buy this fantastic game, we have another reason for you to give it another look.
Thanks to a new BBFC Classification, we now know that a special ‘Game of the Year’ edition is in the works.
Although no details have been released on the exact nature of the edition, we’re expecting most of, if not all of the released DLC will be included.
Two downloadable packs have been released for the game so far. The ‘Insane Night’ Map Pack was released for free and ‘Prey In The Darkness’ can be purchased. While if you pre-ordered the game from GameStop you got a free ‘Dem Bones’ challenge map, and if you bought the Collector’s Edition, a ‘Crime Alley’ pack.
The combination of all this content would make a decent GOTY in our opinion.
If this is released at a very good price, it would be criminal to turn the game down now – unless you have some sort of unresolved issues with the ’superhero’ of course.
This would also be the perfect companion to get you ready for the sequel.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is with no doubt the best comic-book based title in the history of gaming, and this GOTY will provide another reason to enjoy Rocksteady’s creation.

A good game but GOTY. I don’t see it.
