Bayonetta getting an update on January 28th Annoyed by the long load times in Bayonetta? SEGA is hoping to alleviate this issue by releasing a patch.

Kotaku is reporting that Bayonetta will receive an update on Thursday that will allow users to install the game onto the PS3’s hard drive. Bayonetta is one of the few games that doesn’t have an optional or mandatory install, and if the complaints from the community are any indication, the game definitely needs one.

It’s unclear if this patch is just for the Japanese version of the game or if it will be releasing worldwide as well. We’ll keep you updated.
