Final Fantasy VIII has finally been dated for a European release.

Despite last week’s reassurances that the game would make a release in January, it will narrowly miss this month and will instead release on the 4th of February.

So now all of you Final Fantasy fanatics who are having a break from Final Fantasy VII and are waiting for Final Fantasy XIII, now have just a couple of weeks to wait before you can finally get your hands on this classic again.

And it feels like it has been a long wait for Europeans as North America could download the game from December 18th last year.

No prices have been revealed but we’re expecting it to release at around €9.99 since it’s $9.99 in North America right now.
