ps3 slurpee God of War III to be marketed with 7 eleven and Mountain Dew And the marketing campaign for God of War III begins! Today Sony announced a partnership with 7-eleven and Mountain Dew to release a very special “Kratos Fury” Slurpee drink.

Starting February and running through into March, these drinks will be available to buy from 7-eleven stores all across the United States.

So what does a God of War Slurpee taste like?

Sony describes it as a “perfect blend of ferocious blackberries and frosty limes”.

But you don’t get to just drink Slurpees that are somehow inspired by one of the biggest game releases of the year. The Slurpees are served from a choice of four cups.

By keeping your cup and not throwing it away after use, you can redeem some Slurpee Nation rewards codes that will entitle you to exclusive God of War III content!

The rewards include a God of War III dynamic theme, in-game armour, Kratos shirts for inside Home, and more.

Plus, you can also pick up a 2 litre or 20z bottle of Mountain Dew for a redeemable Mountain Dew hoodie or God of War III virtual t-shirt, again for PlayStation Home.

This area of the huge God of War III marketing campaign reminds us a little of the similar deal with Pepsi and Uncharted 2 last year.

Clearly Sony want the whole soda drinkers in the US to know about God of War III! The game releases March 16th in North America.
