In the western world, many gamers are eagerly waiting for a release date for Gran Turismo 5.

Well we have some bad news that could affect everyone because GT5 has been officially delayed in Japan.

Sony Computer Entertainment have changed the release date from March to ‘TBA’.

The length of the delay is uncertain, however SCEE denies that this delay will affect the as of yet unannounced European release date:

This information on the GT release is only applicable for the Japanese market. SCEE will announce the launch date for this game in the PAL territories in due course.

If that is true, the same most probably can be said for the North American release.

We will have to wait and see if any more news comes out about the delay. Hopefully the delay will not be too substantial.
