The Homerun – 20th January 2010; Tekken, NBA, Paris and more
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
Welcome back to another Homerun. It’s another week with more content for PlayStation Home to talk about.
We’ll start with North America this week. With seventeen days to go before the 44th Super Bowl, and with the 59th Annual NBA All-Star Game not too far away either, EA has released a store load of football and basketball jerseys to support your favourite teams and players.
You will be able to find this clothing by either visiting the EA Sports Complex or the PlayStation Home Mall.
It’s great to see all of this new clothing, but only people who are prepared to pay the high prices will be able to get their hands on them.
This week Sony has added support for reward items in both White Knight Chronicles and PixelJunk Shooter. All you need to do is meet certain in-game milestones! We only wish that more games would do this, especially when you see what you can unlock for White Knight Chronicles:

You wouldn't want to mess with this thing
There is also new furniture for the Waterfall Terrace. So if you have purchased this personal space, you may want to have a look at what you can now buy.
Speaking of personal spaces, there is another one this week. If you thought there was enough already, Sony goes and releases one entitled ‘Paris Clock Tower’. Living up to its name, the space provides glorious views on one of our favourite cities, with posh furniture to suit. So if you fancy taking a quick trip across the Atlantic, this is the quickest and cheapest way to do so.

Room with a view
Now we turn to Europe and again it falls short of anything seen in North America. This only adds fuel to the fire of upset Home fans who want to receive as much content as their American cousins. It feels that almost every week the European Home falls further behind. Still, if you like Tekken 6, you should be satisfied with this update. Today there are two costumes for the Heihachi or Paul Phoenix characters, with some ornaments thrown in for good measure.
That really is it for this week. We’re happy for North American gamers who get a fair load of new content, but are saddened by the lack of sufficient output for Europe.
Pick of the Week: This week’s POTW is easy for Europe since you only get Tekken 6 items, while for North America, we suggest you consider buying the Paris Clock Tower personal space.
Till next time, enjoy PlayStation Home!
