Compared to other titles coming out this year, we haven’t seen so much hype for Lost Planet 2.

Perhaps it’s because Capcom’s third-person shooter series didn’t fair too well the first time around on the PS3 due to the poor port from the Xbox 360 amongst other things.

It actually look over a year to make the leap onto the PS3, by which time the interest in the title had died down considerably!

This time however, Lost Planet 2 will be released at the same time as the 360 version and will be developed fully by Capcom which is a great thing.

We have some new screenshots for you below, and we can only hope that the game lives up to the potential that this gallery portrays…
