MAG European release dates and bundles confirmed

Submitted by on Wednesday, 13 January 20102 Comments

MAG Beta 5 MAG European release dates and bundles confirmedSony has today announced the release dates for MAG in Europe, Australia & New Zealand, and the UK.

The 256-player MMO first-person shooter is set to land in most of Europe on the 27th of January.

Meanwhile if you live in the UK, the date that interests you is the 29th of January.

Finally if you live in Australia or New Zealand, you can expect the game on the 28th of January.

Meanwhile, Sony has also confirmed there will be a console bundle, headset bundle, and a Steel box edition. This will give gamers many options on how to purchase this title.

In many ways it’s hard to believe that the game is so close, especially since the open beta has only recently opened.

Although MAG is not one of the biggest games this year in terms of anticipation, it is one of Sony’s exclusives for 2010 and should be the biggest online MMO to touch the console market so far.

I've been enjoying the Beta. The action is much more purposful than the running and gunning of ModernWarefare2. The maps are huge. The action quiets down a bit sometimes, but that's because we're playing at war on a huge map, and the enemy hasn't yet seriously tried to take the objective you're guarding (or whatever). I like it.

I didn't realise the release date was so very close. I'll be checking out the online prices shortly, but I'd rather have a downloadable version that I can leave on my HDD.

It's about time we were allowed to install our games should we have enough space to do so. Which I do.

will see how it plans out before buying it. haven't got the beta and hear it isn't that great
