Dark Void developer diary talks newness, jetpacks

By now we hope you’ve checked out the Dark Void demo available on the PSN.

Our take on the bite-sized sample of Capcom’s upcoming jet-pack centric adventure is that it feels a little like Uncharted meets The Rockateer.

In the latest developer diary, however, the team talk about just how fresh and new the property actually is. From the “nuances of performance”, to how the studio itself is a mix of old heads and new blood.

North American PS Store Update For January 14th – Haha, that’s funny, now where’s the real update?

Wow! There hasn’t been an update this bad in ages. The PlayStation Store updates are off to a bad start this year. Lady Liberty is not amused.

There are no new games this week. There’s a demo for UNO, and DLC for Zen Pinball, Magic Orbz, Rockband, and Guitar Hero. That’s it.

This is easily one of the worst updates ever.

European PS Store Update For 14th January – Meh

This weeks update is pretty tame in terms of amazing new content. There are two new games to buy (Diner Dash and UNO) and demos for Inferno Pool and Vancouver 2010. Nothing to get too excited about, although UNO is a lot of fun.

There’s also a new PSone Classic. Nope, it’s not Final Fantasy VIII. That’s all you need to know. Actually, you will be pleased to know that it’s not a Disney game either. sw00t! OK, you really want to know? The game is called Constructor and it’s actually not that bad.
