It is that time of year when we ask you for a few moments in your busy lives to vote on those games, developers and DLC content that made you happy through the last year.

2009 was a stellar year for the PlayStation 3 and now is your chance to tell us what you really thought stood out. And this year, every person that votes can win one of a number of cool prizes…

As with last year, we had an internal ballot to decide which titles, developers and content would make their way on to the short-list, and now it is your chance to tell us what you would like to see at the top of the pile in the following categories:

• Best New IP
• Best PSN Content
• Best Multiplayer Game
• Best Developer
• Game Of The Year

In addition, we’ve been asking our various developer friends for their top PS3 title, the results of which we’ll reveal mid-January. Voting closes at 13:00 UK time on 15th January 2010, so get those choice in as quickly as you can.

When you vote, you have the opportunity to enter our prize giveaway. We’ll pick, at random, six winners who will receive one of the following prizes (the first name out of the hat wins the first listed prize, the second gets the second, and so on):

• Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time Collector’s Edition on Blu-ray (read our review here)
• Call of Duty Classic on PSN (kindly donated by @mendezgato via Twitter)
