cap 056 re5 gold ed ps3 fob m07 New Resident Evil 5 Gold trailer is epic and exciting Capcom has unleashed a new trailer for Resident Evil 5 Gold that shows us the story behind the Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape episodes.

In this trailer we see Jill, the master of unlocking, and her partner Chris, dude on ‘roids, head into a replica of the Mansion from the very first Resident Evil.

Everything possible goes wrong and we see a new monster that stalks the characters in a way that is similar to our old buddy Nemesis from RE3. That’s for the Lost in Nightmares episode, which will be the first one available as DLC on February 18th for $4.99.

The trailer also shows us footage from the Desperate Escape episode that stars miss Valentine and the BSAA’s Josh Stone. Here we get to see exactly what happens to Jill after Chris leaves her and is on his way to punch Wesker in the face for being a jerk. Desperate Escape is the second episode for Resident Evil 5 and will be hitting the PSN on March 4th for $4.99.

The new trailer has some retro love in it too. During the Lost in Nightmares sequences we get to see brief moments of old school Resident Evil camera angles. There’s even one part where we see our favorite door opening loading screen done in a clever new way. Hopefully the chapter lasts for a few hours because it looks like a lot of fun.

Resident Evil 5 Gold will hit store shelves on March 9th and will include all the DLC that has been released for the game on a single Blu-ray disc for $49.99. The box art for RE5 Gold looks pretty awesome:

Capcom also has a new website for RE5 Gold, so be sure to check that out.
