Not to be confused with previous sightings of Persona 5 being in development, Amazon Japan are listing a new (and first) Shin Megami Tensei game for the PS3.

SMT is a huge, sprawling – almost sentient at this stage- series in Japan, spawning numerous spin-offs and cross-overs, all proving insanely popular with the youth of the nation.

As expected, the listing labels the new game as having a “kari shou“, Japanese for “temporary name”, so it’s almost certain the final title will be something other than simply “Shin Megami Tensei.”
