Super Street Fighter IV – The Official Release Dates Revealed

Submitted by on Tuesday, 26 January 20102 Comments

Fighting game fans, the wait is almost over! Super Street Fighter IV has been dated and two new trailers have been revealed.

Capcom has announced that Super Street Fighter IV will hit store shelves on April 27th in North America, on the 28th in Japan, and finally on the 30th in Europe.

Super Street Fighter IV includes new characters, new ultras, new online features, bonus rounds, new stages, new music, and rebalanced gameplay. Juri, Cody, Guy, T.Hawk, Dee Jay, and Adon are still the only new fighters announced so far, but expect a major revealing of all the new characters sometime in the near future.

According to eventhubs, Super Street Fighter IV will be getting a Collector’s Edition in Japan and it will include the soundtrack, all the trailers, character artwork, and a mini story for the game. It’s currently unknown if this will be available in NA or EU.

There is also a new anime for Super Street Fighter IV revolving around Juri and it’s looking quite good. The trailer shows her beating up Chun-Li, but we all know that wouldn’t really happen…

According to the latest SSFIV blogpost, it appears that the anime will only be available in Japan and is exclusive to the 360 version of the game.
