Boolat Games have just announced that the second game in the Topatoi series, Pillar of the Skies, will be released next Thursday (4th February) on the European PlayStation Store. Along with the announcement, Boolat have released a new gameplay trailer, which shows off the new environments of the game, as well as a co-op mode.

Rather than being a stand-alone title, Pillar of the Skies will function as an add-on, and will therefore require the user to own the first episode, The Great Tree Story, in order to play it. However, Boolat did point out that it is not compulsory to complete Episode 1 before starting Episode 2.

Topatoi: Pillar of the Skies will be part of next Thursday’s European PS Store update, and will be priced at €5.99, the same cost as The Great Tree Story.
