Yakuza 3 given a March 12th European release date
Yakuza 4 is set to arrive in Japan on the 18th of March, but Europeans and North Americans are still waiting for Yakuza 3 to come out.
Well today comes the news that the game is set to arrive on the 12th of March in Europe – yes just six says before the fourth game.
The title was previously never set to get a release outside of Japan, but after gamers around the world voiced their feelings for the game, SEGA had a change of heart.
There won’t be any English voice acting though. Instead the cheaper option of adding subtitles has been adopted, meaning you’ll play the game exactly how the developers originally wanted.
Although Yakuza 2 was not a massive success in 2008 on the PS2 in the west, it has a strong fan base. And we have a feeling this game will enjoy greater retail success, especially since it will be on a “current” platform.
We are still waiting on a release date for North America, which currently has March pencilled in.
