Rob Rutter, European Product Manager of SCEE has announced that the Stereophonics will be coming to PlayStation Home. The event will be taking place sometime in March in The SingStar VIP rooms; it will feature exclusive live footage and a backstage interview from the Welsh rockers.

Home has generated interest from day one, but so far it hasn’t been the immersive social platform which Sony and everyone else had hoped it to be. Introducing live music events such as this is a positive step in bringing more content to Home which actually reflects the interests of people in the real world.

Kelly and his boys will be appearing inside Home personally on the first night for a virtual meet and greet session.

We hope they’re prepared for the crowd of creepy avatars with their uncalled for jiving, that is heading their way.
