Canadians can see PS3 3D games this month
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
So you want to see the PlayStation 3 playing games in 3D, and have yet to do so? We wouldn’t be surprised because it has only be shown at small game events and at CES in Las Vegas.
But if you live in Canada, you have another chance to see it with your own eyes – and those ugly glasses!
PS3 consoles running games such as WipEout HD and Super Stardust HD will be shown this month at a select number of malls in the country.
The locations and dates are as follows:
Feb 2 – 28
- Toronto Eaton Centre (Toronto, Ontario)
- Pacific Mall (Vancouver, BC)
Feb 4 – 28
- Montreal Eaton Centre (Montreal, QC)
Feb 10 – 28
- Yorkdale Shopping Centre (Toronto, Ontario)
- Markville Shopping Centre (Markham, Ontario)
- Rideau Centre (Ottawa, Ontario)
- Richmond Centre (Richmond, BC)
- Chinook Centre (Calgary, Alberta)
- West Edmonton Mall (Edmonton, Alberta)
Come on Sony, how about exposing the new technology to a few other enthusiasts around the world?
Two firmware updates for 3D are due on the Ps3 this summer: one for movies and one for games.
The updates are likely to be timed with the release of Sony’s own 3D TV range.
But does the prospect of 3D movies and games at home make your hair stand on end? Or are you sick of hearing about it? Have you already pre-ordered a 3D TV? We would like to hear from you in the comments below.
