3D glasses e1265366103297 Capcom are ready to make 3D gamesCapcom are satisfied that they have the technology in place to make 3D games. However, they will be undergoing research before deciding which of their franchises will be launching out of our screens.

Should we dread current titles being resold at a premium price with 3D technology shoehorned in, or can we look forward to new titles being developed that will maximise the benefits which 3D can offer?

The announcement came from a Capcom spokesperson:

“We can produce 3D games now from a technological standpoint. Although we are prepared to
start research involving some titles, our decision about adding 3D to games will be made from a strategic perspective.”

It is inevitable that we will be seeing 3D zombies in Resident Evil, but hopefully Capcom can surprise us by reviving the Dino Crisis series featuring massive 3D dinosaurs.

What Capcom titles do you think should get the 3D treatment?
