Dragon Age: Origins – Return to Ostagar release date revealed

Submitted by on Wednesday, 24 February 2010No Comment

It was announced on the BioWare forums that the Return to Ostagar DLC for Dragon Age: Origins will finally be released on the PlayStation Store on Thursday 11th March.

The final version of the DLC was released for the 360 and PC on 29th January, but the PS3 version took a little longer to pass certification.

Return to Ostagar is the third add-on for Dragon Age: Origins, after The Stone Prisoner and Warden’s Keep, and adds 1-2 hours of gameplay. As the title suggests, the DLC sees you returning to Ostagar, the battlefield where most of the Grey Wardens were wiped out, and features new quests and items.

In preparation for Return to Ostagar, a patch will be released on 4th March, the contents of which will be announced nearer the time.

It looks like it’s going to be a busy couple of weeks for fans of Dragon Age on PS3, as the massive Awakening expansion is released on 16th March on disc (in America only), and on 18th March on the PlayStation Store (in America and Europe).
