dead space 2 e1265702971572 EA report suggests Dead Space and Dragon Age sequels sooner rather than laterIt’s fiscal report time again – hurrah!  Although seemingly written in an alien language, these reports often give us a glimpse in to what we gamers have in store for us over the course of the next fiscal year.

So EA, you claim to be the PS3′s number one publisher, but can you back it up?

It seems the answer is a resounding yes.  Of course we all know that projected release dates are tentative at best, but at least we know these games actually exist.

In our opinion the noteworthy games are as follows;

  • Crysis 2 – Q3 2011
  • Dead Space 2 – Q4 2011
  • Dragon Age title – Q4 2011
  • Shooter from Epic – Q4 2011
  • Need for Speed title – Q4 2011

Not a bad looking list if we do say so ourselves, and we are extremely interested to see what direction Criterion takes the Need for Speed series.

And if Crysis 2 is as impressive as reported, then we are all in for a treat.

The biggest surprise?  Seeing Dragon Age up there so soon.  We hope it has already been in development for some time, as to rush out a sequel just to take advantage of the first games success wouldn’t do the series justice.

So tell us, do any of those games get your pulses racing?

    Oooh yes! Have actually been really impressed with EA’s form from about 2008, and most of those games have me interested. Dragon Age is probably my fave, as there are far less good western RPGs than good shooters on the PS3 (or, indeed, any platform!), but I could see myself picking up all of these if they are up to scratch, finance and time willing.
