FIFA 10 patch now working properly

Submitted by on Monday, 22 February 2010No Comment

Last Thursday (18th February), FIFA 10 was patched to version 1.03. However, some users experienced problems and could therefore not download it successfully.

Upon loading the game, players were presented with the familiar update screen, but then the 39MB patch would take an excruciatingly long time to download and encounter an error during the install process. Subsequent attempts led to the same issue, leaving many users unable to play online.

Thankfully, the update now appears to be working correctly, and seems to just be preparing for the Ultimate Team DLC, which is released later this week; the ten new trophies can now be viewed on the game’s trophy list.

There’s still no word on when the January transfers (which closed on 1st February) are going to be patched into the game, but we will certainly let you know when we hear anything.
