You want to know more about Final Fantasy Versus XIII? Not satisfied with Final Fantasy XIII coming out next month?

We are sorry to say that the wait to see the Versus game may be even longer that expected.

Speaking to Famitsu, producer Testuya Nomura brought the sad news that it may not make it to E3:

We were hoping to debut it at E3, but we’re not sure now. For displaying characters on the world map, we were originally planning on using the method used by FF#, with a small Noctus running about on the screen. But that didn’t look too great, so we ended up switching to the method used by FF#.

As you may have noticed, he decided to obscure the exact Final Fantasy titles he was referring to with a #. We hope that what ever change they’re doing to the game’s map, it is worth the delay.

Little is known about the game right now since it was announced at E3 in 2006. Who knows how long we have to keep waiting before more is known about it.

But knowing Square Enix, it should be another game to add to our wishlists.
