Fret Nice e1265028806642 Fret Nice rocks the PSN this weekPieces Interactive has just announced that Fret Nice is hitting the North American PlayStation Store this Thursday.

Fret Nice is a platforming game with a very unique twist. Instead of using a normal PS3 controller, the game is meant to be played with a Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitar.

By jumping into the air and hitting notes on the guitar controller, a riff combo can be done to defeat enemies. The game also supports two-player co-op (locally and online) with each character bound by a guitar cord to prevent players from being too far away from each other.

Although the guitar is not a required peripheral, it was about time a game made use of the controller in way that is interesting and refreshing.
