The Homerun – 11th February 2010; Valentine’s Day, Audi and Warhawk

Submitted by on Thursday, 11 February 2010No Comment

Welcome to another Homerun for news and views on the latest content to arrive in PlayStation Home this week.

Firstly Sony is in the mood for love by delivering a special Valentine’s Day themed SingStar space for both North America and Europe.

Rewards are available if you can do the right moves on the dance floor, and a mini game entitled Stupid Cupid is also available.

To come with this space are a collection of animated tops to show your true love your real feelings – or to find that special someone!

Who knows people, your future wife or husband could be wondering around in PlayStation Home right now.

But SCEA has even more for all of you in North America who are searching for love, or are already in a relationship. Sony want you to become matchmakers by helping out Jerry from Cupid Division.

He is in trouble and needs you and a partner to help him keep his job by finding letters around the Mall and posing as the people described in them. Then take a picture with the two of you together in a new Photo Booth to win rewards.

An interesting concept that will keep you busy for awhile.

Back to Europe now who are getting treated to a brand new Audi space. But let’s face it, it isn’t exactly the most exciting space in the online universe, especially because its sole purpose is to promote their new A1 car. But if you’re a motor head and what to find out more about this vehicle, you may as well give this space a try.

Finally there are some more Assassin’s Creed II costumes available for all in the Shopping Centre in Europe too.

North America have more content in the form of the Warhawk personal space. The dedicated public space has been available for some time, but Sony has now introduced this space so that you and your friends can plan ahead of your next battles without annoying kill-joys trying to ruin the fun.

It also features a mini-game for between battles that can be played with other people.

There are also more virtual items available from the Mall if your wardrobe is looking a bit bare.

Pick of the Week: Well this one is another easy choice as it has to be the free SingStar Valentine’s Day space in both Europe and North America – because we think love is the best thing of all.

So there you go for another week. It is another decent bundle of content for Home that keeps us interested in the service for at least another seven days.
