Where did the origins of African American characters in video games begin? Is their depiction considered stereotypical or even racist? All these questions and more will be discussed.

It Came From Japan #9 – Bushido Blade

Unforgiving. Tense. Subtle. Light Weight’s seminal one-on-one fighting classic Bushido Blade was many things.

Blade Kitten is based on the comic by the same name. After three comics, it’s time for Kit to make the jump from its pages to our PS3s this spring.

In a society where gamers expected the latest in 3D graphics and technology, there stands one game that returns to the classic pixelated times of old, sorta. We were given the opportunity to experience 3D Dot Game Heroes in all its glory, and we we’re quite impressed to say the least.

Activision Blizzard’s Bobby Kotick admits his mistakes – The Force is strong with this one

We think the vast majority of you have heard of Bobby Kotick. Through various statements he has set himself up as the evil villain of the games industry.

His most notorious, and most frequently discussed quote is “The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games.”

Boo hiss! But can a Leopard change its spots?
