Color Institutional logo RGB Ubisoft to provide a bit of shock and awe this week?If you’re a fan of Ubisoft’s many franchises then this is a week you might want to pay attention to.  Several Ubisoft sources have commented on the fact that a huge announcement is coming up.  Our question is – for what game?

We are big fans of Ubisoft here at Attitude Towers, but even we admit that they can be a bit hit and miss when it comes to dealing with new and existing IP’s.

For every Assassin’s Creed 2 there’s a Rayman Raving Rabbids.  Even sequels aren’t safe, with many fans preferring the original Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter over the second one.

Even so, an update to one of these franchises is news to get excited about – well, except for Raving Rabbids.

Speaking via Twitter, community manager Aymeric Evennou had the following to say;

“Big announcement coming up next week. and I mean BIG! Can’t say more as for today. But I know you’re gonna love it :-) .”

This was followed up by another community manager who said;

“TGIF all! Looking forward to a Big announcement coming up next week! :)

So what’s the verdict?  New Assassin’s Creed? Or perhaps Ghost Recon will be shooting its way back onto the scene?

We have a sneaking suspicion that it might be regarding Hitman 5.  Many journalist’s have commented that, on a recent trip to Ubisoft, there was an entire area dedicated to Hitman 5 that was quickly shut off.

As always Team Attitude will bring you the news as it breaks.
