The promised “big announcement” from Ubisoft is that Ghost Recon is making its return.

Ubisoft revealed today that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released during the holiday season of this year.The game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Paris studio and will feature “state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes”.

According to a tweet from UbiLeak, the PS3 version of the game is not being developed by a different team and it will be releasing at the same time as the 360 version.

Not much is known about the game at this point but expect more news and a trailer to be released shortly.
