Ubisoft announces Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

The promised “big announcement” from Ubisoft is that Ghost Recon is making its return.
Ubisoft revealed today that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released during the holiday season of this year.The game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Paris studio and will feature “state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes”.
According to a tweet from UbiLeak, the PS3 version of the game is not being developed by a different team and it will be releasing at the same time as the 360 version.
Not much is known about the game at this point but expect more news and a trailer to be released shortly.

lol – not a crazy prediction, but Ghost Recon is one of their stronger brands, and it’s been a while since GRAW2. Hope they do a good job of this, don’t mind a little Ghost action

I was hoping for something really huge, the way Ubi were going on about it.
…I guess it is good news for the fans out there, and there are a lot of those, in all fairness.
Still, I’m underwhelmed.
