Lost Planet 2 arriving early – and multiplayer demo is incoming

Submitted by on Friday, 26 March 2010No Comment

Two exciting bits of news for people who like to shoot massive bugs in their glowing parts.

Tap B to activate!

Originally scheduled for May 18th, you will now be able to buy Lost Planet 2 one week early – May 11th.

Furthermore, avid Capcom fans will be given the chance to get their hands on early access codes to an online 16 Vs 16 multiplayer demo.  Featuring the ‘Turbulent Jungle’ map from the online versus mode, the new Lost Planet 2 demo will include full chat support and in-depth result stats so players can establish bragging rights.

These early access codes will mean you can start playing from March 31st, so head over to and check if they have been released yet – it’s first come first served.

Fear not though – the demo will be released to all over the PSN on April 22nd.

PS3 Attitude was lucky enough to be invited to the Lost Planet 2 event which took place last week in London.

We weren’t overly keen on the online multiplayer but urge you to at least give it a go to form your own opinion.  Our advice would be to not judge the rest of the game by the multiplayer’s standard – as co-op mode is fantastic and seems a lot more polished.

Happy hunting!
