Welcome to our first ever Deals of the Week. Every Friday we will deliver the best deals for PlayStation 3 games that we have discovered across the World Wide Web.
The articles will be divided into two with two deals for the United Kingdom, and two deals for the United States.

There’s five new games this week. Hamsterball, Wakeboarding HD, Anarchy: Rush Hour, Blue Toad Murder Files Episode 3, and Section 8. If you’re looking for demos, you’re out of luck.
Gravity Crash and Everyday Shooter are on sale until the end of the month as a part of the Spring Fever sale. Now would be a good time to get these games.
A horrible PSone Classic is now on the PSN and it’s called Perfect Weapon. Do not bother with this game. You’ll thank us later.
Mega Man 10 gets the dynamic theme treatment and a new Heavy Rain dynamic theme is available as well. You’ll probably notice by now that people have Heavy Rain avatars. We’ll, they’re out in the US now too.

Earlier today, Fat Princess was patched to version 1.05, which adds a handful of technical fixes, as well as two free new snow-themed maps, entitled Frost Bite and Candy Mountain.
This week mainly consists of special offers to take advantage of. Blue Toad Murder Files Episodes 1 and 2 received a permanent price drop and the Valkyria Chronicles DLC is currently on sale. There’s more but those are definitely the highlights.
There’s only one demo to try out and it’s for Greed Corp. In terms of new DLC there’s the Sonic the Hedgehog costume pack for LittleBigPlanet and two challenge packs for Batman Arkham Asylum.
We finally got more avatars. Be prepared to see a lot of Origami Figures in your friendlist. There’s also new dynamic themes for Heavy Rain and Mega Man 10.
Today 2K Games announced the release dates for Mafia 2, the open world crime thriller.
The game will be releasing in North America on the 24th of August, followed by a European release on the 27th.
Earlier in the week it was thought that Sony had accidently confirmed that a LittleBigPlanet sequel was on the way.
Sony has now spoken up to tell us this is not the case. Facepalm.
Love it or hate it, the Halo franchise is gargantuan. Clearly Bungie is a very talented studio.
With its recent separation from Microsoft, will we be seeing their logo adorning a PS3 box any time soon?
Playlogic’s internal development studio, Playlogic Game Factory, is developing new motion control products alongside SCEE.
The team already has experience with the EyeToy, specifically EyeToy Play: PomPom Party on the PS2, Aqua Vita, Tori Emaki, Mesmerise, and even more recently, EyePet on the PS3. The team knows the PlayStation Eye so learning Move should be a walk in the park, right?

Final Fantasy XIII is the latest Role Playing Game developed by Square Enix. Every Final Fantasy title has generated tons of hype and this game is no exception. Not only is this the biggest RPG release of the year, but it’s easily one of the biggest releases of this generation.
Square Enix stripped away many of the genre’s foundations and the result is a more streamlined experience. This may or may not please fans that have grown accustomed to certain gameplay elements.

Planet MiniGolf seems like it was announced ages ago, and there was even a chance to get into a secret closed beta. Details about the PSN exclusive title are starting to emerge, the first of which is that it will be available Spring 2010.
