David Cage, CEO and founder of Paris-based developer Quantic Dream, revealed last month that Heavy Rain was initially designed to be played with a motion based controller, and Cage hinted that the game could still end up with motion sensing support.

Well, Belgium magazine Chief  have confirmed that Heavy Rain will indeed be using the PlayStation Move. The news comes via Gamer.nl.

There isn’t any details as how it will be added, but we suspect it’ll come in the form of a patch. Heavy Rain’s unique control system is a perfect fit for Move, so we look forward to trying it out when it’s available.

The list of titles supporting Move is starting to become quite long, with the likes of Soccom 4, LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo all supporting the controller. With Heavy Rain added to the list, things are looking good for Sony’s new device.
