If you live in the UK and want RE5 Gold, your only options are GAME or Gamestation.

While it is disappointing that the Gold Edition won’t be available everywhere, you can still play the new content as long as you have the original Resident Evil 5. In fact, all of the new additions will hit the PlayStation Store before the Gold Edition releases.

Lost in Nightmares and the costume pack 1 came out on February 17th. Lost in Nightmares features Chris and Jill during their mission at the Spencer Estate. It’s definitely worth the price and fans will enjoy the nostalgia it provides. The episode is light on action but it has the atmosphere of a classic Resident Evil.

Desperate Escape and costume pack 2 releases this week. In Desperate Escape we get to see what happens to Jill after she separated from Chris. Josh Stone from the BSAA provides Jill with support this time around.  This episode will be much more action oriented.

RE5 Gold contains all of the DLC on a single Blu-ray disc. If you don’t have the original game by now, Gold is the way to go.

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition boulder punches its way onto store shelves on March 9th in NA and on the 12th in the UK.
